Elements of Advanced Manufacturing

If you are a CT manufacturing company with less than 2000 employees, not receiving other funding, you qualify for 50% funding by CT DOL.  Class size is limited. 

8 person minimum required

The Elements in Advanced Manufacturing program is an extension of the innovation and creativity programs offered to students and alums at CCSU. Participants will be introduced to multiple technologies used in production including: Mechatronics, Automation, Solidworks and 3D Printing. Participants will learn the value of incorporating these technologies into today’s manufacturing environment. The course is a hybrid of classroom (13 hours) and on-line learning (19 hours) using ToolingU modules. Campus labs and the Education and Innovation Center at the downtown campus will be used to explore automation, computerized design and operational systems. Utilization of Advance Manufacturing techniques will help participants to begin the journey for improving processes, services, or products to achieve breakthroughs and disruption in markets.  It will include in-class exercises, real life case studies and practice with tools, which are required to achieve certification.
